DAT levels in whole-cell extracts are not affected by E₂ treatment for 5–60 min. Cells were serum-starved and NGFβ-treated for 2 days, then treated with 1 nM E₂ vs. ethanol vehicle (C). Cell lysates were processed for immunoblot analysis with DAT Ab e2. DAT protein levels did not change due to E₂ treatment over a 5–60 min time course. Representative of 2 experiments.
