Professor Yung Hou Wong obtained his Ph.D. degree at Cambridge University, and completed his postdoctoral training at the University of California, San Francisco. He joined the faculty at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 1992 and is currently the Associate Dean of Science, Head & Professor of the Section of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Division of Life Science. He is also the Director of Biotechnology Research Institute and Molecular Neuroscience Center at HKUST. Yung is a leading expert in the molecular pharmacology of G protein-coupled receptors, signal transduction and integration.
